Gudhjem Hostel is one of Gudhjem’s oldest hostels and has been a part of the heart of Gudhjem since 1938
Since 2025, the married couple Jannie and Martin Buch Thorborg have managed the hotel, which now welcomes guests to a refreshed and inviting environment. With a major renovation, the place is ready to create even better experiences for everyone who visits us.
Gudhjem Hostel opened on Maundy Thursday in 1939 in a former farm building that was transformed into a hostel. At the opening ceremony, a short speech was given, and since then, the place has welcomed guests to cozy stays in the heart of Gudhjem.
